Branding Web Style Guide Sample

This is a sample of a branding web style guide I put together for Bao, a Korean Barbeque brand. How the logo and associated branding can be used in a variety of ways is explored for digital platforms.

The image below shows a sample of the final web style guide. The purpose of this document is to provide a brand owner with a quick reference guide to producing web content. Templates for posting can be produced with all the associated graphical elements. Of course all deliverables have a variety of formats for use by the brand owner or their web designer.

I use the most relevant layout examples to showcase what matters most to the client. It’s a quick reference guide rather than a full web template. The main purpose is to make sure the digital presentation of your brand is consistent. This is even more important when you have a range of platforms with your brand on.

The design of this branding web style guide doesn’t stand alone. It makes more sense when used together with a full set of brand guidelines and all the associated graphical collateral. For a business owner this sort of clarity in branding and promotion is essential. Not only does it provide a consistent and recognizable brand, but it saves you your most valuable commodity – time. It speeds up the production of promotional material. And helps you DIY what you are confident doing also saving you money when outsourcing other design work.
